Cyber Security Bill aims to strengthen national defences

The Cyber Security and Resilience Bill continues its passage through Parliament and  central to the King’s Speech promises to deliver a fundamental step change in the UK’s national security

The Bill will make essential digital services more secure in the face of cyber criminals and state actors, ensuring the economy is better protected. It will strengthen the UK’s defences by making crucial updates to existing legislation, including regulating many managed IT companies that deliver key services such as IT helpdesks and cyber security to private and public sector organisations.
